Welcome to Women’s Aid

Training and Education

Women’s Aid Training and Education is the leading training provider for tackling and preventing domestic abuse. Built on core feminist principles established over 50 years, our nationally recognised survivor-focused courses and qualifications enhance skills and knowledge of domestic abuse at all levels – from general awareness raising to advancing professional development, within the sector and beyond.

Our trainers have many years of experience working in the sector and bring a diverse range of skills and specialisms, ensuring we develop and deliver the highest quality training at all times.

From the early wave of 1970s feminism through to the present day, here’s how our training has evolved from a small, regional offering to the nationally recognised and accredited provider that it is today.
