I commission work with survivors
Local public sector commissioners for domestic violence services are facing perhaps the most difficult decisions of recent times, as they themselves face severe cutbacks. Women’s Aid have worked on a few tools to help, which you can access below.

Working with Commissioners
Through the Sustainability Partnership, Women’s Aid and Imkaan have created a free guide, designed to support public sector staff responsible for commissioning services for women and children experiencing and fleeing domestic violence.

Shared Core Standards
The VAWG Sector Sustainability Working Group, comprising Imkaan, Rape Crisis England & Wales, Respect, SafeLives and Women’s Aid, have a set of Shared Core Standards. The purpose of these standards is to enable joint commissioning across specialist services in the VAWG sector, both nationally and locally.
