Grant-funding opportunity – 24/7 Sexual Violence Support Service  

The Ministry of Justice has launched a new grant funding opportunity to provide a national, free 24/7 Sexual Violence Support Service to victims and survivors in England and Wales.  

The government’s End to End Review of the Criminal Justice System Response to Rape found that the provision of support for servivors of rape and sexual assault is inconsistent across the country, often isn’t tailored to meet a survivors’s needs, and there isn’t enough of it.  

The grant funding will establish a single source of person-centred, trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence aged 16 and over.
