National Survivors’ Participation Panel
Women’s Aid is proud to announce the formation of a new National Survivors’ Participation Panel, funded by The Women’s Foundation.
The panel consists of over 20 women survivors of domestic abuse from all walks of life and from 16 geographical areas in England.
The principal role of the panel is to ensure that survivors’ voices are heard and believed by:
- influencing policy and practice within the voluntary and statutory sectors;
- informing local and national government thinking and responses.
Currently the panel is involved in a range of activities such as participation in research projects, parliamentary briefing events, and conferences.
National and local organisations, voluntary and statutory services who wish to engage with the panel, or use the panel for consultation, can contact Women’s Aid to learn more and discuss potential opportunities: [email protected]
