I wrote this poem in relation to The Freedom Programme. It’s fairly short but I hope it speaks volumes about how enlightening the course was and how supported I felt in the group. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t joined the course when I did.
Growing from within
You sowed the seed for my life to grow
And I watered it
You provided the earth for my nourishment
And I sat in the sun
You gave me light to blossom
And I absorbed it
You gave me hope when there was none
And I thank you for it!
