Women’s Aid National Conference 2019

16th & 17th July 2019, Stamford Court, University of Leicester

This event brings together our entire federation – women who have spent their lives on the Feminist Frontline gaining an unrivalled understanding of domestic abuse, developing a huge range of pioneering specialist services, and advocating passionately for survivors. It’s a real opportunity for everyone who attends to debate policy, share best practice and celebrate this life saving work carried out by our members.

You will have the opportunity to hear from high-profile and fantastic speakers as well as contribute to discussions around sustaining thriving services who support all women experiencing domestic abuse.

Becki Meakin, General Manager, Shaping Our Lives

Tuesday 16th July – open to all

This day is open to anyone working with and for survivors of domestic abuse or an interest in doing so. Programme details will follow.

Wednesday 17th July – women and members of Women’s Aid only

This day is open to women from Women’s Aid membership organisations only. Programme details are to follow soon.
