Patron of Women’s Aid, Melanie B said:

“While I was writing my book Brutally Honest, it wasn’t until I saw a list of what coercive control involved that I realised what had happened to me. I wish I’d been taught this at school, as I had absolutely no idea that this was part of abuse. I was contacted by a student and fellow survivor, who came up with the idea of having a poster for toilet doors in bars and restaurants to raise awareness with a list of the signs you are being abused. This is a team effort between myself, the incredible survivor, Women’s Aid and also my daughter Angel who designed the border, to let others know what coercive control is and how you can get support.

Please read it, think about it and print off and share in your local area.”
