It starts with you….

Do you want to know what to say when someone tells you about a harmful relationship?

Do you want to take action and help raise awareness in your community about what an equal, healthy relationship looks like?

Women’s Aid England, in partnership with Welsh Women’s Aid, developed Change that Lasts, which is a vision to bring an end to domestic abuse and a practical approach to ensuring that all survivors of domestic abuse are believed and get the help they need, when they need it.

We have teamed up with Waltham Forest Council and three local domestic abuse services to deliver Change that Lasts. If you live, work or study in Waltham Forest, we invite you to make a difference in your community and become a Change that Lasts Community Ambassador.

We are offering two free days of training where you’ll learn about how to spot the signs of an abusive relationship, know how to give the right response to people experiencing it and hear about important work carried out by dedicated domestic abuse services. The course will also inspire ideas for how you can take action to raise awareness of domestic abuse in your community.

Help us break the silence around domestic abuse in your community. Register your interest today to become a Change that Lasts Community Ambassador by completing the form below.
