The Midcounties Co-operative and Women’s Aid won the Community Partner award for their partnership at the first Food and Drink Federation awards.
We were also Highly Commended at the Third Sector Excellence Awards in the Corporate Partnerships category for this partnership.

World Conference of Women’s Shelters in February 2012 – Storytelling Award
On 1st October 2007, Women’s Aid’s advertising agency, Grey, have won the “Socially Responsible Campaign Award 2007” for the Women's Aid Valentine’s Day campaign 2007 at the Euro Effie awards.
On 13th September 2007 Women’s Aid won the award for Campaigning Team of the Year at the Charity Times Gala Awards in London - for the ACT campaign. The national domestic violence awareness campaign asks everyone to ‘act until women and children are safe’- that is - admit domestic abuse is a problem, call it by its name and talk to someone about it .
The campaign launched with a celebrity campaign, using head and shoulder portraits of famous female faces, made up to show the physical effects of domestic violence.
Women photographed so far for the campaign by Rankin include Fiona Bruce, Anne-Marie Duff, Anna Friel, Jemma Kidd, Honor Blackman, Fay Ripley, Miquita Oliver, Fern Britton and Kate Thornton.
The Hideout is the first national website for children and young people to inform about domestic violence, to help them identify whether it is happening in their home, to provide indirect and informal support to children and young people living with domestic violence or to those who may want to help a friend, and to signpost additional help and support.

The UK Charity Awards 2005, hosted by Charity Times, the Highly Commended prize in the 'Best Use of New Media' category September 2005
On Valentine's Day 2006 Women's Aid launched a public awareness campaign to highlight the fact that for over half a million women, Valentine's Day is a day like any other, a day where they will live in fear of a violent partner.
The campaign was created by Grey London, and featured print, outdoor and radio advertisements.
