Children's Faces CartoonChildren’s Welcome Packs – Third Edition (2011)
The Children’s Welcome Pack is an invaluable resource for any refuge or children’s worker to use with young survivors of domestic violence. This third edition has been updated and split into three separate age-specific packs to acknowledge the differing experiences of children and young people. Each one is free to download.

Illustrated in bright colours with plenty of space to encourage creativity, the packs are fun for children to use and aim to help them feel at home in their new environment. Children and young people using these packs in refuge services may be leaving behind family, friends and belongings and these resource packs can help children to understand what a refuge is and how their new surroundings will help them. The packs also aim to help rebuild self-esteem and support your work in other non-refuge settings, and also to engage young people in activities about healthy and respectful relationships.

The packs are available as free downloads only to reduce costs for your organisation. Older editions are still available to buy in booklet format. Please see below for more details.
