court- appointed guardian

Sorry for an extra post, Hoping someone can give me an idea of whats going on.

Basically the judge said our case is very complicated and my children will now be added as 'parties' and appointed a guardian for the case. I think it was section 16.4 or something along them lines.

I haven't a clue what happens now and no one really explained it apart from saying we go back in 3 weeks

I think they mean a guardian ad litem

They don't have to move in. A friend of mine used to do this work. The guardian ad litem is there to look after the children's interests as I understand it. Try googling the term and you'll find out more. I think my friend used to visit children at home as well as being in court with them.

Don't know about the 16.4 bit, but someone will! Sounds like a very big horse, doesn't it, the kind that pulls the queen's carriage!

Good luck and I hope you get the best outcome you could hope for.
