Thanks you ladies for your concerns, I'm ok thanks. Well the Mr Nice streak lasted until this morning, but not before he agreed to put his 200 lever arch folders (plus numerous other folders and files filled with yellowing papers!) and his mother's things into storage (he he!). I've agreed he can have a couple of his mother's better items of furniture on condition that he has them cleaned up and re-French polished first, but they are not coming into the house until that has been done. He's also acknowledged that he needs to have a big sort out of all his cr*p before he moves, because he's not bringing it here and it will be expensive to put it all in storage.
I've said that he can move in next month, but if he breaches the following boundaries he is out pronto: I've told him that if necessary I will go to court and get an occupation order to have him removed.
When we lived together previous he was forever throwing tantrums and storming off to sleep in the spare room. He hasn't done it since the attack, but I've warned him that if he starts that nonsense again he is out on his ear. If he storms off to sleep in the spare room, he can bl**dy well stay there, he's not coming back into my bed.
He has not called me a f****ing c**t since the attack, but I have given him a stern warning that if he dares to call me ANY derogatory names, he's down the road courtesy of a great big boot!
And I have made it very clear that if he displays ANY hint of aggression, threats or violence towards me, I will call the police immediately and will have him prosecuted to the full extent of the law. He's terrified of getting another conviction, so I don't think he would dare.
Mr Nice has now turned into Mr Sulky, but he's going home tomorrow.
