ARCHIVE - Life after abuse

It's been a year (than I know of) - I wanted to send this to her - so i'll send it to you girls instead (just to stop me)!

'Thank you so much for finally being the one to take him off my hands. I don't know why he chose to go with you and non of the others, possibly because the move was looming and he would have had to take responsibility for the family, more probably because I woke up from the abusive nightmare and kicked his sorry ass out - you 'won' by default. You are the complete opposite to me, ugly, thick, anorexic, buck toothed, immoral, bleached blonde mutton and the voice is worse than chalk over a blackboard.Have you never heard of moisuriser or conditioner woman, jeez?! Mind you, too late now, not even surgery could fix that dried out wrinkled old leather - in fact, you are everything he has always found abhorrant in a woman.

You left your children behind for someone who is not worth anything - you will learn - you'll be next for the 'treatment'.

Thank you for changing my life - my house is happy, comfortable, home. No more walking on egg shells, no more waiting for the next outburst. It is decorated in bright, happy colours and we have technology which is not from the 80s so my children can watch TV and do their homework on the internet!!! The children come home from school now rather than staying at every after school club possible just so as not to be here.

I have an amazing man who loves me and I love back. We talk, laugh, share and have so much fun together. My children adore him and I have a fantastic relationship with his children - the big, happy family we always wanted. You have - my unwanted castoffs - I would feel sorry for you but that would take attention and time I do not have as I am busy having a life. You thought you'd won the prize - shame it was the booby prize.

I have more money than I ever had now he's not wasting it, and I can spend it on what I want, what we need. The kids even go to school now in clothes that fit and shoes without holes!!

I have a new job in the pipeline and my children are doing great at school.

So, once again, thank you for having an affair with my husband - you changed my life to be better than I ever thought it could be. You can stop bad mouthing me, checking up on me, driving past my house, following me - because quite frankly, no-one cares - I find it super amusing your life is soooooooooo good you have nothing better to do all afternoon on a sunday than sit in your car at the end of my road. Me, my man and the kids had a great Sunday dinner by the way.

Go and live your life with 'your' man, my abuser - because your life will never be a patch on mine - you will never be a patch on me.
