Court today ..........
My solicitor is AWESOME! He was unrepresented so she asked if we could just move it on to the Schedule 7. He agreed but I think he thought the hearing on the Position Statement would still go ahead. We were in and out of court in less than 5 mins for a hearing which was scheduled for 45! She also asked him where his Form E (financial statement) was as we have been waiting to exchange for 6 months, why he hadn't sent the decree absolute acknowledgment back. He was squirming and she crucified him. Best of all, it will be 10 weeks before the Schedule 7 is done - by that time it will have been a year since he has seen the kids and my youngest will be over the magic age! Just hope my luck holds with CAFCASS but they have been good so far so I don't see why not.
To all you ladies going through court like me, it can go well sometimes - hang on in there x
As always, you were right there with me xxxx

Hi
Really pleased for you, out of interest what is the magic age? I was first told 9, then 11, then 13 then 9 again. What is your understanding of it x

Good question end of the rainbow. What is the age? I'm so pleased for you sunshine. It's not often we here of a positive story involving courts. I'm just about to start my court case and have already had trouble with cafacss! I wish you all the best and for your good luck to continue x
so I'm not counting my chickens! I've had bad times too but try to only post the good nowadays. My solicitor said 10, they start taking more notice then of their wishes. Bizarrely it's to do with the age of criminal culpability being dropped fron 12 to 10 after the Jamie Bulger case. They can't say 10 is old enough to be tried for murder but not old enough to decide they don't want to see their father xx
