The British Crime Survey
The government's authoritative crime statistics may exclude 3 million offences every year due to the capping of five offences per person interviewed. Authors of the report estimate that domestic violence is 140% higher than the BCS statistics show, up from 357,000 incidents a year to 857,000. View our reaction.
